Leisl Harris - Director
Leisl has over 20 years practical experience in the planning, design, development and project delivery areas across a variety of asset classes with a specific focus on social infrastructure assets and precincts.
Expertise
Leisl has significant experience in the delivery of complex projects requiring the management of a diverse range of stakeholders. Leisl’s strong creative, organisational, managerial and communication skills, together with her architectural and management qualifications, combine to enhance her value to clients.
Leisl works closely with clients to deliver solutions for their businesses. She engages in the formulation of a vision for projects that can be translated into tangible outcomes which provide financial and business benefits to the client and surrounding communities.
Areas of expertise include a focus on civic and social infrastructure; precinct creation and implementation; and partnership development between public and private entities. Specific skills include:

Experience
Leisl’s early background is in Architecture. She is also qualified under the Australian Institute of Company Directors and in Project Management. Leisl has been involved with many projects and management teams in the client, consultant, building contractor and developer roles, providing her with a broad range of practical experience in asset creation and delivery.
Previous to joining Urbis she spent two years as Principal and owner of Social Infrastructure Solutions (SIS), three years as Queensland Director with Alba Capital Partners, ten years with national construction company Baulderstone Hornibrook as Queensland Director of the development business and prior to that in the design and construction group and seven years in architecture with ML Design.
